Floating Support Solihull

What is Floating Support?

Our Floating Support Project in Solihull works with women in the community who have been affected by domestic violence. You will be offered one-to-one support from a particular worker, who you can meet a safe, local venue such as a library or a health centre – this is so you have an ‘excuse’ to be there.

What can Floating Support do for me?

Floating Support provides information, advice, advocacy and support on a range of matters, for example housing, budgets, emotional support, benefits, safety, utilities, legal issues etc. We can work with you if you are living in your own home, or are homeless, e.g. staying with a friend.

If you have children, we will try and arrange for a qualified, experienced children’s worker to provide crèche for the duration of your appointment.
