Services
BSWA runs a number of services for women and children:
You can call our Helpline to talk to a trained worker.
We can provide emergency, temporary accommodation in one of our Refuges.
Whilst in our refuge, and after leaving, you can access the Resettlement and Aftercare service.
If you need extra support after leaving an abusive partner and have your own tenancy, you can contact the Floating Support teams.
If you require support around the civil or criminal courts of Birmingham, or for housing needs, you can contact the Safety Unit.
If you are a woman with children, you may benefit from our Family Support service.
If you have experienced domestic violence, rape or sexual abuse, you may benefit from Counselling.
We have developed an awareness-raising service to be delivered to primary and secondary children, by our Schools Project.
We offer accredited Volunteer training and placements in a number of projects.
BSWA runs a number of Training courses for professionals on domestic violence and related issues.
